Melbourne Engagement Grant (University of Melbourne)

In 2018 the Folio team received a $15,000 Melbourne Engagement Grant from the University of Melbourne. This seed funding kickstarted the larger Folio project and gave us confidence in its viability. We used the funds to purchase the audio equipment we needed to record interviews with artists, and for the team to undertake an audio recording training intensive with expert Zacha Rosen. As part of this training, we completed two full-length audio interviews with comic artists Louie Joyce and Pat Grant, and a series of studio photography in Pat’s backyard shed-studio in Austinmer, NSW.
