What to bring
We’re interested in stories about Australian comics and the community of comics makers in Australia. Can you share some stories that reveal important insights about this practice and this community?
We’d like to anchor each of these stories in an object or an image. For each of the stories you tell, please bring something that you can put under the camera while you share this story.
Please bring along:
One artefact from your own practice with a story attached.
One memento from interacting with the comics community in Australia with a story attached.
One great panel from an Australian comic.
an artefact from YOUR TIME MAKING COMICS
Here are some ideas of what you could bring that represents your own work to tell us a story about.
A piece from the beginning, middle or most recent part of your practice
Work you’ve had an epiphany about
A work you love, or a work you hate
Work you’re well known for
A tool you work with
This item can be any format (for example a panel, a page, a zine, a poster, a sketchbook, a graphic novel) and if you still have things like sketches, or older iterations, that you feel would help you talk about your selected piece, feel free to bring them along too.
